At Zirkel Optics, we make sport eyewear for athletes who push limits. Our warranty and crash replacement policy is built for real-world use, not gear that stays in a case.

Lifetime Frame Warranty

Zirkel Optics stands behind every frame we produce for life. If your Zirkel frame or any frame component fails due to a manufacturer’s defect during your ownership, we will repair or replace it.

What’s Covered

Zirkel Zirtek™ 3D-printed bio-based frames, hinges, and manufacturer-produced frame components are covered against defects in materials and workmanship for the lifetime of the original owner.

What’s Not Covered

The lifetime warranty does not cover damage caused by crashes, impacts, accidental misuse, loss, theft, normal wear and tear, or modifications. Scratched, abraded, or otherwise compromised lenses are also not covered under the lifetime frame warranty.

How to Make a Warranty Claim

To make a warranty claim, email warranty@zirkeloptics.com with your proof of purchase, a description of the issue, and photos.

Zirkel Optics has sole discretion to determine whether an issue qualifies as a manufacturer’s defect. If approved, Zirkel will repair or replace the frame at its determination. Shipping and applicable taxes on replacement products are the customer’s responsibility.

Crash Replacement Program

Crashes happen. Zirkel’s Crash Replacement Program helps athletes replace damaged sport eyewear after activity-related crashes or impacts.

Crash Replacement Pricing

  • Full Frame + Lens Replacement: $109 plus shipping and tax
  • Lens-Only Replacement: $39 plus shipping and tax

Eligibility Requirements

  • Damage must result from an activity-related crash or impact.
  • The request must be made within two years of the original purchase date.
  • Proof of purchase is required.
  • You must be the original owner.
  • A brief description of the incident is required.
  • Crash replacement is limited to one claim per product, per year.

Warranty Terms and Fine Print

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Zirkel Optics’ liability for any warranty claim is limited to repair, replacement with an identical or equivalent model, or store credit, at Zirkel’s election.

Zirkel Optics is not liable for special, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of its products. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may have additional rights that vary by state or jurisdiction.

This policy applies to authentic Zirkel Optics eyewear purchased through zirkeloptics.com or an authorized Zirkel retailer. Products purchased from unauthorized resellers or third-party marketplaces where authenticity cannot be verified are not eligible.
